Well here's the news: I'm going to be a third grade teacher and I'm a little nervous, ok actually WAY nervous! I got hired the day before we left on our cruise, so I have been trying to not think about it too much. After teaching Kindergarten for seven years and then teaching 8 year olds. That's a big difference!! I am very excited, just nervous about leaving my kids all day and finding a sitter!!!! Anyone up for babysitting??? lol Let me know if you are!

Assistant Teaching Job

For all of you who have not heard! I got an assistant teaching job last week at Ashman Elementary in Richfield. I am very excited! I am a little worried about leaving the boys that long. Assistants here work a lot more hours than in Cedar. I will work from 9 to 3:30 everyday. Oh well I guess! That's what I have to do to get my foot in the door! I know everyone keeps asking for pics of the house but I keep 4getting my camera down at the house. We are still living with my parents while we continue to paint, paint and paint some more, we are getting new carpet in the bedrooms on Thursday and then hopefully by next weekend we can start moving are stuff in and DECORATING! Watch for pics to come soon!

For all of you who have not heard, WE ARE MOVING! Yes, it's finally true! We are moving to MONROE, UT. Jav got a job for Christensens Arms in Gunnison UT. We are so excited. Here's how the story goes. He applied almost two months ago and then we never heard anything so we just assumed that he didn't even get an interview. Last Monday morning Jav called me at work and I could tell that his voice was different and something was wrong. He told me that John Mogle had just called him and told him that he had an interview. He had to be to Gunnison that following Friday. Scared and excited all at the same time he went to the interview and felt VERY good about it. They told him that they would let him know by Tuesday or Wednesday either way if he got the job or if he didn't. So we hoped, we prayed, we fasted and it seemed like forever. Tuesday came and went and NO phone call, Wednesday came and almost went, and then at 8:30 that night, Jav got a phone call and they wanted him to come back for ANOTHER interview on Friday morning to meet the Christensen family (the owners). I had this idea pop into my head that we should have some people that Jav has gone hunting with around the world write letters of recommendation so he started making phone calls and he was able to get a hold of 5 people to write him letters of recommendation and have two people call and talk to the President. Everything seemed to be falling into place. Jav went up again and felt AWESOME about the interview. He got along great with the owners. They told him that they would get a hold of him sometime that same day, with an answer. So he drove back here, was only home for about an hour and got a phone call that changed our lives FOREVER! We are so excited. He will be in the sales department for Christensen Arms. THank you so much for all of you that have called us and congratulated Jav! We really appreciate it! We, especaially Jav have had a really hard year, and so this has been a VERY positive and happy thing for us. We will truly miss Cedar City. Our friends (like family) have been amazing! You have made memmories with us that will last a life time. And don't forget you can come visit us whenever you want. Jav is moving next week and I am moving in three weeks as soon as school is out!

Krew turned one on March 24th. I can't believe it! IT seems like it was just a blink of an eye and now he's one! Where does time fly? He is such a good boy. He just walks around and smiles with his 4 front teeth. He sleeps good, (even though he drinks all night), he naps good, he lets his big brother haul him around and he loves his daddy! What would we do without him? Last weekend all of Jav's family and my entire family got together at my moms to celebrate Jaggar and KRew Bears birthday since their birthdays are so close. That's what Jag calls him "KREW BEAR", but he can't say his R's so it's soooo cute! We had such a great time bar-b-queing, opening presents and watching the boys blow out their candles! Thank you so much everyone for coming and for the FUN gifts!

Yes, he loves oranges! I know you are probably thinking oh my gosh he is going to choke but, don't worry, I watch him the whole time he sucks every last bit of juice out of the orange! I just love watching him eat it! It makes me laugh! :)

Jaggar and Krew's newest most favorite thing is..... being pulled by me in the WAGON!!!

Krew absolutely loves things that open and shut like cupboards, drawers, doors and especially cell phones. He opens the door and watches his brother outside and gets soooo excited. He just wants to go out there and be with him soooo bad! It is so cute to watch!

On Friday and Saturday we had a blast playing in the SNOW! We went on 4-wheeler rides, sledding, Jaggar went bike riding (nothin slows him down) and we made snow angels with all the neighbors. Thanks for a fun weekend guys! We don't know what we would do without all of you! A family of 4 is a little squishy on our 4-wheeler!

OK, now don't pass out when you see that I have finally updated my blog. THings have been so crazy it is hard for me to find time to blog. But here I am. Jaggar and Krew are the best of buds. Jaggar is always watching out for Krew and is trying to wrestle him and make him walk and talk. Krew is a great sport. This is one Sunday in December after church! Aren't they handsome? Everyone says that Krew looks just like Jaggar used to. What do you think?

We had so much fun this Halloween!!! Even our DAD came with us this year trick-or-treating! THat's a first for him. We are so excited. Jaggar had such a great time with our neighbors!! We are so lucky to have such fun neighbors. Jaggar was a fireman and Krew was a dog. He only lasted for about an hour. We hope you had a Happy Halloween too!!!

Jav's Nebo Elk

Jav drew a nebo elk tag last year the hunting expo. LIttle did he know that he was going to have to go scouting for this elk 2 months prior to the opening day of the hunt. This was a hard hunt, but with lots of help from many family friends he was able to get a nice one. I was soooooo excited too, because now I can have my husband back on the weekends, or at least one weekend before the spike elk hunt starts. Thanks again to all of our family friends for the company, the food, the camp set up, and for many fun memmories.

We went to the Hogle Zoo last weekend and had a blast! Jaggar had the trip of a lifetime!!! He just didn't even know what to do with himself. IT was so fun for all of us to go together as a family, with all the cousins and all. Thanks everyone for a fun trip!!!

Pirate Chairs

So my nice neighbor gave me these chairs. Thanks adri! And I decided that they would be perfect for my classroom. I just spray painted them, then modge podged some paper to them, added a bit of material and an eye patch, and tried to make them look like a pirate to match my classroom. What do you think??? I thought they turned out pretty cute!! The kids in my class can hardly wait to be captain of the week and super star of the day, so that they can have a chance to sit on them!!!

24th of July Celebration

I know that I am like WAY behind on blogging, but things have just been so crazy around the Redd house. This is the 24th of July Celebration in Monroe. We went to the parade and our great neighbors and friends also came along with us. Jaggar's best friend Dagen who he absolutely adores got to catch candy at the parade with him. That was like a dream come true. After the parade we went to the park and hung out for awhile and Jag decided that he wanted to do the dunking booth. I was a little nervous at first, and I could tell that some of the parents were looking at me like you are honestly going to let your child do this? But yes, of course I did, he got right up there and plugged his nose. He was a great sport about it. We had a great celebration!!!!

For all of you who have not already heard. Jav's father passed away on June 11, 2009. We are all still in shock and cannot even hardly believe it. Jim was Jav's best hunting partner in the world. Jav and the rest of the family are all having a really hard time. We just wanted to thank all of you who have helped us through this trial in our life. Thank you so much for the texts, the calls, the errands, and most importantly your PRAYERS. It really means a lot to us to have such awesome family and friends. We will deeply miss our father, grandpa, hunting partner, DR. and friend. WE LOVE YOU JIM!!!

THings I love come in sets of two!!! I absoutely LOVE these clorox clean up wipes. I can just quickly wipe everything down in the mornings without deep cleaning EVERY day and know that everything is clean and disinfected!!! Also, if you have never tried these magic erasers you TOTALLY should. They are great for tubs, showers, and your kitchen floor and even CARPETS!!!! My next 2 FAVORITE things are of course, my boys. They sure do keep me on my toes, but I wouldn't trade them for all the money in the world. They put a smile on my face everyday!!!

Memorial Day in MESQUITE!!!

We spent Sunday night in Mesquite with my brother and sister in law and my little nephew Trayl. We had so much fun -- even WITH the kids. Jaggar liked the water for about 5 seconds before Jav made him go under and then he was completely scared to death for the rest of the day. We will have to take him swimming more. IT was such a HOT day. Thanks Reg and LIns for an awesome weekend!!!

Happy Birthday Jaggar!!! We had a John Deere Birthday Party. We had so much fun. The kids played with baby chicks, played pin the wheel on the tractor, ate tractor wheels and looked so cute wearing different farm animal hats (that I took forever making)!!! I can't believe my baby is 3 already!!!

I was induced on Monday night at 1:00 am because of severe adema (that's swelling) for those of you who don't know. My legs and feet were huge!!! I couldn't even where shoes. He came to us as 12:40 pm and was 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long. He is sure a handsome little guy. We came home yesterday and had to go back to the hospital today for a jaundice test. NOw we just found out that they are bringing us some lights to put him under. I'm not to excited about that, but what do ya do!!! He is here and healthy, and I am SOOOOO glad that I am not prego anymore. Jaggar wasn't to sure about him the day he was born, he said he wanted to leave him at the hospital. But now if he can't see him at all times he is wondering where he is. He will be a great big brother!!! Thank you so much for all of your calls, texts and concerns. Your friendship means so much! I am so blessed to have such awesome friends and family!!!

My little bro Michael got his mission call and he is going to ORlanldo, FlOrida!!! How exciting! That means in two years we get to go to DISNEY WORLD!!! We are already sooo excited!!! So we have been car shopping for the past month or two so we could get something a little bigger. We finally found what we were looking for on Tuesday. I thought we were going down to St. George on Saturday (Valentines Day) to sign the papers and take it out for a ride. LIttle did I know that my SWEET Valentine had planned for me to drive it home. IT was mine. I couldn't even believe it!!! I am so excited to finally have a cute car. I have always had junkers. THanks honey, I love you so much!!!

So After 3 BUSY months things are going really good for us. By the way we are having a BOY for sure for those of you who don't know (since I haven't updated for 3 months now)!!! So much for all of my cute girlie pink and purple things. Maybe next time. We are so excited for another BOY. Especially Jaggar. When we are practicing letters Jaggar always finds K and says Krew mom??? ONly 5 or 6 weeks left or hopefully less. I am so ready to be DONE being pregnant. I just finished Krew's room (well almost) there are still some odds and ends but this is pretty much it!!! I took Jaggars old dressers and modge podged scrapbook paper to them and did the same with the letters. Nobody told me what a project I was getting myself into. Thank heavens I'm finally done!!! Jaggar was so sad at first to have to give up his room. But he has been a pretty good sport about it for the most part. He is growing up sooo fast.

So we went to our first ultra sound and the lady said highly likely girl, 80%. Then everyone told me that they always tell you that with a girl. They never give you a for-sure 100%!!! So we just couldn't believe it, I started shopping for pink and purple stuff the very next day. Then last Saturday I went home to Monroe to do a jewlery party and my aunt Kari called me during the party and said as soon as you are done my friend wants to give you a free 4-D ultra sound. So I was soooo excited. Then I would know for sure that I was having a girl. Well about 5 seconds into the ultra-sound he said, you are having a BOY, and you could definitely tell. There was something just poking right out!!! ha,ha,ha. So then yesterday I went back to my 20 week appointment and I told the Dr. that one person said I was having a girl, and the other said boy. He took me back and gave me another ultra-sound and at first he said, these look pretty girlish to me. Then he said well, "this could be a boy part." But he wouldn't give me a for sure girl or boy. So we are planning on a BOY!!! But, who knows, obviously nobody knows for sure!!!! CRAZY!!!!

What more could I ask for. My little bro Michael is going to school here and he watchs Jaggar every Monday and Wednesday morning while I go to work. They have such a great time together and Michael is the best uncle to Jaggar. They go on stroller rides, watch the bus go by, eat cereal and take pics of each other. Thanks Uncle Mike for being the best babysitter ever!!!

This weekend we went on our "traditional" Fall outing to the Elsinore Pumpkin Patch!! Jaggar had the time of his life wandering through the patch choosing a million different pumpkins!!! We went on a hayride through the patch and then on a little kids train ride also. It was so fun, even though it was really cold and windy. We had so much fun with my mom, our auntie Kelly and cousin Markell. Happy Fall!!!

Jav's City League Softball team won the championship!!! It was so fun to take Jaggar and watch all of his games. Jaggar is his daddy's biggest fan!!! After every game Jaggar would go out and run the bases with Jav. It was sooo cute!!!

Jaggar broke his leg at the beginning of August. He was playing at my parents house and we aren't quite sure what happened. (My parents would die if they knew I was putting this on my blog). They felt absolutely horrible. They are adding on to their house and their was so much commotion going on and lots of extra kids. (The contractors wives and kids brought them up lunch), and my mom turned around to talk to the cabinet guy for a split second, and the next thing that she knew, Jaggar was screaming bloody murder. When you ask him what happened he says, "voom, voom"! So we are thinking that some how, some way he must have fallen off the four-wheeler. He got his cast off last week. He can have a bath again!! Hooray! (The one pic is what his cast looked like the day he got it cut off.) You can sure tell that his broken leg didn't slow him down any. We are so glad!!!

LOVIN' LAGOON!!!

On Wednesday Jav's work payed for all of their employees and their families a day at Lagoon!!! We had so much fun, well at least Jaggar did! It was soooo hot, but Jaggar just wanted to keep on riding the rides. There wasn't one ride that Jaggar was afraid of. His favorite was the Tidal Wave (the big boat that rocks back and fourth). He would get so excited that he would just scream. He had the time of his life. Jav and I wonder how all of you do it with more than just one child. We were worn out by 5:00 PM. We had a great day together as a family.

Mommy's Birthday Cupcakes!!!

Well, sad but true, I turned another year older this week. I am truely old now. 28 Holy Cow!!! So Jaggar and I have been reading this book about learning numbers, and the number three has three cupcakes, everytime that we would read it he would lick his lips and then lick the cupcakes in the book. So on my birthday we decided to make some cupcakes (for Jaggar)!!! WoW!!!! He had so much fun licking every last drop of cake mix from the beaters and the bowl!!! He made my birthday the best day ever!!! :)

A Day on Grandma and Grandpas Farm!!!

This last weekend Jaggar had an absolute blast feeding all the animals. He pulled on his feedin' boots and off he went feeding his bunnies that he got for Easter, the turkeys, the deer, the birds, the donkey and even getting to pet a brand new baby deer. He had the time of his life!!! He is sooo much fun to watch. What a farmer he is!!! :)

School's Out!!!

School is finally out for the year. I can't believe that I just finished my 5th year of teaching! I love teaching Kindergarten half a day. This is one of the smartest little 6 year olds you have ever met. She was my best friend all year long. She is a sweetheart!!! :)

I had a turkey tag on Cedar Mountain, yes you heard it right I meaning myself, Tara. We only hunted one evening and early one morning like 4:30 AM. I could not believe that I was getting up this early for a dumb turkey, but we got one right off the road. Well just a little bit, I didn't have to chase after it to far!!! ha.ha.ha! We actually ended up having a great time. Jaggar absolutely loved it and Jav was very proud of me. I am a "REAL" hunter now!!!!
